Lead Based Paint

Homes built before 1978—including one built in 1973—may contain lead-based paint, which can create hazardous dust or chips as it ages. Federal law requires a Lead-Based Paint Addendum to ensure buyers are informed of these potential risks, understand their right to inspections, and receive the EPA safety pamphlet. The addendum protects both buyer and seller by documenting full disclosure and compliance with federal regulations.
